山岳トンネルの標準工法であるNATMでは, 施工中に切羽を観察することによって切羽ごとに支保工の妥当性の検討を行う。その際に, 事前に設計された支保工が不適切と判断された場合には, 支保工の変更を行う。しかしながら切羽観察のみによる支保工の決定方法は, 未だ一般化された手法は確立されていない。そこで本報告では, 切羽の観察結果のみから容易に支保工を決定する手法について検討する。また, 個人の主観を考慮するために, 切羽の観察の際に重視する項目をアンケートによって明らかにし, その結果を決定手法に取り込むことを試みる。
