Descriptions
Fosfomycin did not show the inhibitory action against Leptospira at the concentration of 400μg/ml. Therefore, this antibiotic was not expected to be a chemotherapeutic agent for the leptospirosis. On the other hand, this drug was hopeful to be an agent for the selective cultivation of leptospira from contaminated material.
