To detect abnormal interventricular septal (IVS) wall motion during exercise-induced ischemia, we performed ergometer exercise echocardiograchy using a specially deviced transducer on 17 patients (pts) with left anterior descending artery (LAD) disease and 10 normal subjects (N) at rest, and during exercise and recovery.
