A case of localized and tumorous amyloidosis of the stomach in a 62 years-old woman was reported. This case was found by mass screening. Clinically, we interpreted advanced cancer (Borrmann2) on roentgenographic and endoscopic pictures. However, homogenous acidophilic depositions were seen in lamina propria moucosae on histological findings of biopsy specimen. She was treated by an anti-uclerative agent. After six months, the roentgenographic picture appreared to be early gastric cancer (II_a+II_c). Other cases of localozed amyloidosis of the stomach were diagnosed advanced cancer or malignant lymphoma on roentgenographic and endoscopic examinations.
