Serum LDL and HDL concentration in hepatobiliary disorders was studied. 1. A rather good linear regression was observed between the results of LDL determination by ultra centrifugation and by rocket immunoelectro-phoresis, although there were some exceptional cases. However, the results of ultracentrifugation showed larger pathological variations than those of the Apo-B specific immunological method, implying the occurrence of qualitative changes in serum LDL at the same time with its quantitative increase. 2.
