Since June of 1971 we experienced 75 cases of malignant tumors treated by combination therapy with supervoltage irradiation and bleomycin. We have analysed the primary effects, side effects, changes of blood pictures and epithelitis. We have discussed what is the best combination method. 1)As the primay effects of the combination therapy, 2.5-5mg bleomycin, i.m., within 30 minutes after irradiation (A-group) was more effective than 15mg bleomycin, i.v., twice a week (B-group). 2). Side effecs were less in the A-group than in the B-groups. 3). Decrease of WBC counts was not remarkable in the both groups. 4). The occurrence doses of epithelitis were about 2000-3000 rads, when 40-50mg bleomycin was administrated.
