はじめに : 私は、人事異動により9年ぶりに転勤をした。琴芝小学校についての知識は、校舎の改築によるオープンスペースを有する小学校という位しか、恥ずかしながら私にはなかつた。私の担当学年は2年生となった。久しぶりの2年生担任ということもあり、私は内心うれしかった。ところが、K君という手の掛かる子どもがいるという話を同僚から私は聞いた。どんな感じの子どもなのだろうか、また、具体的にどう手が掛かるのかを聞き、私は「大変な子どもだからこそ担任をしたいなあ」と思いK君の担任となった。
