Descriptions
During the past 20 years, 792 patients (467 with gastric cancer, 325 with colorectal cancer) have been operated in otr clinic. Among them, 19 with gastric cancer and 12 with colo-rectal cancer associated with cholelithiasis were analyzed. Most of gallstones associated with gastric cancer were bikirubin stones, while most od those associated with colo-rectal cancer were cholesterol stones. Gallstones associated with gastric cancer had cholecystocholedocholelithiasis. We propose that asympotomatic cholelithiasis associated with gadsric cancer should be treated operatively.
