Bronchial carcinoid has been known to grow slowpy and to have low malignant potential. A 61-year-old male consulted our outpatient clinic. A medical examination had found an adnoraml shadow in his lung. He had no complaint, but his chest x-ray revealed a round shadow mass in the right lower lung field. We suspected pulmonary cancer, and he was subjected to right lower lobectomy. Typical bronchial carcinoid was dignosed by histological examination. Distant metastasisto lympth nodes was not found.
