A case of localized bronchial amyloidosis in a 58-years-old female received left total mastectomy eleven years ago is reported as compared with those in previous reports. A nodular lesion was located in the left lower orifice on bronchoscopy. Transbronchoscopic biopsies pf the bronchus revealed submucosal amyloid deposits. Under local anaesthesia an Nd-YAG laser was used as a better from of treatment on this case. There was no operative complication such as bleeding . The nodular lesion showed a marked improvement. Later, bronchoscopic examination showed no growth of the nodular lesion.
