Studies on the Antibiotics of Bacillus aneurinolyticus (3) Preliminary examination on prescriptions of culture media of B. aneurinolyticus for production of antibiotics.

Several　prescriptions of culture media for Bacillus aneurinolyticus were examined in order to reap a good harvest of antibiotics. Semi-synthetic culture medium including casamino acid (1.0%) and ammonium sulfate (0.2%), which possesses a desired effect equivalent to nutrient broth, was devised. From this result, a key to the prescription of the complete synthetic medium for the bacillus was expected.
