A case of bronchial carcinoid of 50 year-old female with atelectasis of the right upper lobe was reported. She was introduced to our clinic for further examination of the lung. By the bronchographic and bronchoscopic examination a bronchial tumor was found in the right superior trunk, and this tumor was diagnosed small cell carcinoma by the transbronchial biopsy. Tumor scintigram with ^<67>Ga-citrate, perfusion lung scan with ^<99m>Tc-microsphere albumin were performed. The right upper lobe was resected because a malignant tumor was suspected. In the resected specimen, a round soft tumor, 1.0×0.8cm in diameter, was found in the right superior trunk, and histologic diagnosis was bronchial carcinoid.
