One hundred and seventy six patients with brain tumors treated or admitted to our clinic (Department of Surgery at that time) during the period between 1954 and 1972 were reviewed, 104 of them were male. The ages of them ranged from 11 months to 75 years. Patients with meningioma, metastatic tumor and granuloma including cerebral paragonimiasis were observed in high frequency comparing with their incidence in Japan. On the contrary, patients with neurinoma were in lower incidence. In this paper the evaluation of clinical symptoms, supplementary examinations and others were discussed statistically.
