The cotton highway located in along cloud Shuhei rice field Funagawa is the area which prospered as a distribution center of the cotton which used the waterborne traffic of the Shinji lake and the Hirata Funakawa canal once. In recent years, waterside space, such as Kakedashi and an alley, is improved and the opportunity of city planning activities has been rising. A main subject aims at the waterside in a cloud Shuhei rice field Funagawa canal, the space composition of Kakedashi which is a point of contact of a life, and clarifying the change of how with a river to be concerned.
