The magnetic properties of B_2O_3-Fe_2O_3-RO (R : Ba, Sr, Ca, Zn) system of glasses were studied in this paper. The glasses in this system were melted in electric furnace, about 1300℃, five hours. The melted glasses were powdered into particles of 80 meshes by agate mortar. The magnetic susceptibilities of the glasses were meaured by Gouy method. The results are as follows. 1) The magnetic susceptibilities are about 10-30×(10)^6(cm)^3g^<-1>, and are approximately equal to the susceptibility of Fe_2O_3 : 20.6×(10)^6(cm)^3g^<-1> (18℃) 2) The susceptibities are proportional to the contents of Fe_2O_3 mol in glasses and don't depend on the contents and species of other components in glasses.
