The dissolving phenomenon of B_2O_3-Fe_2O_3-RO (R=Ba, Sr, Ca, Zn) system glasses were studied in this paper. The fused glasses were powdered into particles of 35-60 meshes and lg of them were immersed in 50cc water of 30℃, 50℃ and 70℃ under constant agitation of 10,20,40 and 80 min., respectively. Then the amounts of Ba, Sr, Ca and Zn ions dissolved in water were measured by chelatmetric titration and Fe ions were measured by potassium permanganate titration. (1) Log of the amounts of Ba, Sr, Ca, Zn and Fe ions dissolved in water was linear function of log of dissolving time and the reciprocal of dissolving temperature. (2) The amounts of Ba, Sr, Ca and Zn ions dissolved in water did not depend on Fe_2O_3 mol in glasses and the amounts of Fe_2 ions depended on Fe_2O_3 mol in glasses. (3) The amounts of Zn and Fe ions dissolved in water ware a little and the amounts of Ba and Sr ions were much.
