A 59-year-old woman, who had received left modified radical mastectomy 11 year ago, was admitted with cough. Chest CT revealed thickening of the right bronchus with multiple nodular shadows in the peripheral lung field. Bronchofiberscopy showed thickened mucosa and stenosis of the right bronchus. Biopsy demonstrated the same scirrhous carcinoma as previous breast cancer, and endobronchial metastasis (EBM) was diagnosed. Endocrine therapy and chemotherapy were chosen due to the wide spread cancer. The endocrine and chemo-therapy for EBM of breast cancer were very effective in this patient. Although mean survival time after diagnosis of EBM was reported 9 to 12.5 months, long survival and good QOL are still maintained in this patient for 31 months after the diagnosis.
