Autonomic facio-cephalalgia is a rare disease which presents many autonomic symptoms. Because of its many atypical symptoms, an accurate diagnosis is very difficult. During a pain paroxysm, an 18-year-old woman complained of conjunctival injection, lacrimination, upper palpebral redness and right hand weakness. The operation was performed under diagnosis of chronic dacryocystitis, and muscle biopsy was made for weakness. If diagnosed earlier, they would not be necessary.
