A case of pulmonary scleroshing hemangioma, a 46-year-old male, successfully treated by resection, was reported. He was intraduced to our clinic for further examination of the lung. The chest X-ray film showed a round mass in the left hilar region. The resection of the left upper lobe was mede because a malignnt tumor was suspected. In the resected specimen a round, clearly defined tumor, 3 × 2.5cm in diameter, was found and histologically determined tobe circumscribed sclerosing hemangioma. Sclerosing hemangioma of the lung, especially differential diagnosis of round shadow on chest X-ray film, was discussed. Medical literatures were discussed.
