Descriptions
A class of minimum-time control problems in the discrete nonlinear control plant is investigated using the framework of state transition method and variable gain method. In linear plant, the control signal is a linear combination of the states, and the feedback coefficients are constant every sampling point. However, in nonlinear plant, the feedback coefficients must be variable every sampling point. As a numerical example, the author discusses about the 2nd-order plant with dead zone element. The purpose of this investigation is to determine an practical solution to the opimnm control problem in nonlinear plants.
