As facilities maintained in the urban renewal business, the city in Japan is seen from the aspect "Third Place" that sociologist Ray Oldenburg of the United States advocated, it overemphasizes to the house and the office, and third Place is extremely few. "Present age cafe" that has developed in the Japanese original culture scattered in the inside and the city of such a situation has the possibility of functioning as third Place. Therefore, it is assumed to be a purpose to do the research that pays attention to "Present age cafe", and to clarify whether it is effective as third Place by this study.
