本研究では修験道における明治期の製薬について、求菩提山・英彦山の事例から検討する。求菩提山では現在までに錦袋不老円など、14種類の薬が確認されている。錦袋不老円は江戸期の資料である『山鹿郡宿控帳』（1819年）に記されておりその使用が確認できるが、他の薬は記載されていない。加えて現存する薬袋・版木等の資料のほとんどが明治初期のものである。一方、『売薬並講社日誌簿』から、1889年（明治22）まで製薬・売薬を行っていたことを確認できるものの、その後、製薬・売薬は急速に衰退・消滅する。明治初期、政府は近代化を目指し各種法令を出すが、それは製薬・売薬についても例外ではない。これら法令が薬自体や製法に与えた影響・変化は小さくないと考えられる。製薬・売薬に関わる法令の中で、本稿では特に1877年（明治10）に出された売薬規則に注目する。この法令では、売薬に関わる者を売薬営業者・請売者・売子の3つに分け、製薬については売薬営業者しか行えなくなることが定められた。しかし売子が売薬営業者に宛てて提出した誓約書とみられる「内和条約書」からは売子も製薬の知識を持ち、かつ製薬をしていたことがうかがえる。売子自身が製薬するという事例は、近世の仕方をそのまま踏襲したものだった可能性があるものの、法令に反した製薬が行われていたものと推察される。このように、法令に反してまで製薬・売薬を行ったメリットはどれほどあったのか。求菩提山にはこれらで得た利益を記した資料がないため、やや時代は下るものの地理的に近く、求菩提山と同じく天台系の修験の山であった英彦山の資料を用いて検討した。英彦山松養坊には彦山疵薬を1912年（明治45）から1926年（大正15）まで製薬していた記録が残っている。さらに同坊所有の『大正三年家計簿』を検討すると、同坊では他にも収入があったことが判明した。それらと比較すると、製薬・売薬で得られる収入は少なく、生業として不十分であったと指摘することができる。

本論は、日本近代文学館に所蔵されている「武田泰淳コレクション」における未発表の草稿類資料「原稿　天命」（資料番号　T0056535）などを考察対象として取り上げ、草稿と初出本文との異同を検討することで、「聖王」「悪王」像が明確化され、美姫たちが格上げされ、「幸福な重耳」と「天命」が削除されたというテキストの生成過程を明らかにした。生成過程を踏まえ、改稿の時代背景から武田の「気持」を理解し、具体的に武田が「悠久なものがなぜほしかったか」、即ち本小説における「悠久のもの」（中国古典）の「現代」的意義を検討した。本小説において「悠久のもの」の「現代」的意義は、動乱の1960年代に面して、武田が「現実のきびしさを考える場合に」、「悠久のもの」から「よりどころとなり得るもの」である「徳」あるいは「王者（徳の高い人）」を追究し、「武力と悪知恵ではなくて、徳によっておさめられる静かな国」を強調し、中国古典を通して「現代」の難題を問い直したことであると思われる。

Teaching materials proposal and quantitative evaluation for improving comprehension in elementary school science “magnetic force created by electric currents”

小学校第五学年理科の単元「電流がつくる磁力」における『電磁石』に注目し、児童の電磁石の特性に関する理解度向上を目指した教材の開発及び定量的評価を行った。検定教科書に記載されているコイルを構成するエナメル線の直径条件0.3～0.6 mmを含む広範囲（直径0.1～0.8 mm）のエナメル線を用いて、磁力、温度変化並びに流れる電流値を測定し、教材に適した条件の検証を行った。磁力においては従来用いられている釘・クリップ・ワッシャーといった鉄製品が引き付けられる個数を比べることに加え、テスラメーターを用いたコイル断面（質点）における磁束密度の定量的測定を行った。さらに、乾電池の内部抵抗の影響を明らかにするために直流電源装置、アルカリ乾電池、マンガン乾電池という異なる3つの電源を用いた比較測定を行い、内部抵抗の存在そのもの並びに乾電池の劣化に伴う内部抵抗の増加がどのくらい磁力に影響を与えるかを具体的に明らかにした。得られた結果を総合的に評価することにより、乾電池1個分の起電力である1.5 Vの電圧を使用する条件下においては、直径0.5 mmのエナメル線（長さ10 m）を用いることが最も適しているという結論に至った。

The identity and difference between ancient Japanese and Chinese comparative literature : focused on the discription and conception of "Snow"

古代日本文学は中国文化の影響を多く受けている。しかし事物への概念や表現方法が必ずしも中国の影響かどうかは判別しにくいものもある。事物や表現が同様だからと言って影響関係にあるとは一概に言えないからである。そこで本稿では具体的に「雪」の概念や描き方を例にして、その関係を考えてみる。「雪」が厳冬期の行路難渋や苦寒という意味では当然のことながら一致している。また影響関係は不明であるが、五穀豊穣の予祝的なものという認識は共通している。しかし『万葉集』では「遠い山に降るもの」という概念があり、神の存在する場所に降る神聖なものという認識がある一方で、中国では神仙的な彼岸と区分するという意味があって、ここが本質的に相違が見られる所である。本稿では宴席を中心とした「雪」については考察していない。このことについては別稿で論じる。
