山口大学では、平成15年度より受動喫煙防止対策に取り組んできたが、その対策はまだ十分であるとは言えない。そこで、社会的背景及び教育的見地から今後より一層の喫煙対策推進が求められると考え、本学における学生の喫煙状況を把握し、今後の喫煙対策を進めるうえでの課題を検討したので報告する。
