おもしろプロジェクトとは、学生の企画に対して資金援助を行う山口大学特有の学生支援プログラムの一つである。アンケート調査から、「かけがえのない体験」・「人格的成熟・自己確認」・「組織運営に関する学び」という3つの高度な学びを参加学生にもたらしたであろうことが明らかとなった。一方で、参加学生のモチベーションを向上させるために、相談機能の強化や定期的な意見聴取会・交流会といった仕掛けの必要性があることが示唆された。さらに、参加者だけの学びに留まらないように配慮していく必要性も示唆された。
