中国人材育成事業による受託研究員として中国西華大学外国語学院日本語講師劉玉茹氏が、平成18年度、山口大学国際センターで1年間の教員研修を受けた。本稿では、日本語教員再研修プログラムの報告および教員研修のあり方について検討した。教員研修では、コミュニカティブ・アプローチとそれ以前の指導法とを比較対照させながら、日本語学習支援の指導方法について学び、学習者に則した適切なアプローチを教師自身が編み出し、言語学習を効果的に手助けすることのできる教師力を養うものである。
