Descriptions
We clarified the following results concerning the rafts for prevention of disaster for shallow-sea culture. (1) From the relation of wave dimensions (H/l, I/L・・・・・・・) calculated by dimensional analysis, deved depth of rafts were greater as wave steepness were sharper (Fig. 1.1). In case rafts length were constant, dived depth diminished as the wave length became large (Fig. 1.2), and rafts pointed to the maximun dived depth when raft length was equal to wave length (Fig. 4.5), on the other hand wave period did not any important effect upon diving depth. (2) We assumed equation (4) to calculate dived depth from the theory of wave energy acted upon the raft, and obtained figure 2.1 in regard to diving resistance-coefficient K in equation (4) by introducing the experimental data. Also wer poposed equation (18) for the relation between pressure of broken wave and dived depth. However, we do not investigate yet experimentally about this theoretical equation.
