Descriptions
本種の雄は有翅形で卵生雌は無翅形である。それらの形態については詳しく述べた。筆者らは本種をソルゴーでのみ採集することが出来たが他の植物上では発見できなかった。西日本において本種の両性世代虫の出現は10月であった。この時期はわが国の他のアブラムシの種よりもやや早いように思われる。卵生雌は雄よりややおくれて発育し交尾後寄生植物の葉上に産卵する。本種はわが国では非移転型であり，また完全生活環型である。胎生雌の増殖力は高く，将来，牧草，サトウキビなどの害虫として注目される種であろう。
