On the effect of transplantation of hypophysis on milk production of goat

Descriptions
There are many reports on the increase in milk secretion by the injection of the anterior lobus of the hypophysis to the cows, rabbits etc., but no reports on the same effect caused by the transplantation of the hypophysis. The hypophysis was transplanted by the authors in the fascia of musculus glutaeus medius of the goat, and gave no positive effect on the prolongation of the period of milk production.
