Descriptions
The culm of the Ruihantiku (“Tear-stained bamboo”) has beautiful figures made up by an Ascomycetous fungus named Phragmothyrium Semiarundinariae HINO et HIDAKA. Its figures on the culm are quite simdar with those of Chinese Hsiangnachu which is wodd renowned for its beauty of the culm figures. The locality of the Rujhantlku is limlted in a small area in Hirose-mura, Miyazaki Prefecture. The bamboo is likely to be threatened with distinction in near future, and the protection and preservation of the bamboo secms to be a matter of great urgency・ (Resumo en Esperanto)
