Among those works left, his study on rock/paleo magnetism has been greatly appreciated as the pioneer work. And his name, ”Matuyama” is well known in the present days as ”Matuyama Reversed Epoch (ca. 0.7-2.5B.P.)” in the paleo-geomagnetic history.
