Descriptions
Misima Island in Japan Sea is 25 miles distant from the Hondo, and the cattle has not been imported in this island for a long time. Though the Misima-Usi (Misima cattle) is significant for the studies of Japanese native cattle, physical examination has not been attempted yet. The parasitological tests were held on 26th to 31st, July, 1953. The results are shown in Table 1, and compared with the results obtaied by the writer in Kawatana-Mura near Simonoseki-City and Tuzu-Mura near Iwakuni-City. The parasitic percentage of Misima-Usi is about as high as 50%.
