1. The section of starch cell layer of endosperm tissue of white-core rice kernel for ‘Sake’ brewery were observed by scanning electron microscope. 2. The starch cells of the translucent part of endosperm were densely filled with normal compound starch granules, and the starch cells of the white-core of endosperm were composed of comparatively round starch granules of two tyoes (single and compound glanules).
