Descriptions
This report deals with the comments to a step for improvement of the farm practice in the Yamaguti Univ. Farm. The reslts are as follows: 1. The number of full-time teachers posted to the Yamaguti Univ. Farm is 2, and this is on the smallest scale among that of the national universities in Japan. Accordigly, the attached farm bailiff shold produce by training technical officials of superior ability who teaches farm practice. 2. The farm practice in the course of 1 or 2 credits seems to be insufficient to learn the agricltural practice. 3. The systematic planning of the farm practice is sometimes prevented to put in farm practice wihin the regular curriculum in the Faculty. It seems to be necessary that the concentric practice is introduced to a curriculum. 4. The farm paractice is possible to make the students to learm many agricultural techuiques. An important problem for the teachers who cover the farm practice is how to conduct the exerimental practice. 5. The management of attached farm designed for a large income by the estmiated revenue. Therefore, the introduction of new crops and the employment of new techniques on trial bring much difficulty, and the substance of farm practices is confined wihin narrow limits.
