On account of the experction of decreased demand for industrial water in Hofu City, the estimation of limiting quantity for the availability of Water at Sano dam (in Saba river) became necessary. 1. In case of low water level in natural stream, the Q-H curve by the method least squares in the lower past beyond the range of actwal survery gives somewhat large value. Therefore, the writer compared the Q-H curve by the method least squares with Steven method. As the result of it, Steven method was used by the writer. 2. The following investigations were carried out. A. Q-H Curve in Hitomatu. B. Q-H Curve inOsaki. C. In and Outflow discharge between Hitomaru and Osaki. 3. Hydrograph at Shinbashi has detas for a fairly long period. Knowing the relation between the discharge at Osaki and the water level at Shinbashi, we will be able to estimate the limiting water quantity at Sano dam from these datas.
