Patjological Study on Amyloidosis Isolation and Purification of Amyroid Fibril Protein and Biochemical and Immunological Analysis

Examined specimens were obtained from eight patients of primary amyloidosis and two kinds of animals with amyloidosis, a swan and ICR mice. Isolation procedures of amyloid fibril proteins were performed according to the methods of Pras et al. (1968) and Glenner et al. (1972). After tissues were washed with PBS , crude amyloid fibrils extracted with water were fractionated by gel filtration on Sephadex G-100 column using 5 M guanidine-HCl.
