鋼橋架設工法の選定過程においては,橋梁形式,橋梁規模,架設地点の情報などに基づく多くの知識や経験が必要であり,熟練技術者の経験や勘に頼らざるを得ない部分が多く見受けられ,エキスパートシステムなどの手法を適用したシステム化の必要性が認識され始めてきている。本研究は,このようなニーズに応えるために,橋梁形式の中で鋼橋の鈑桁橋および箱桁橋を対象とする「鋼橋架設工法選定エキスパートシステム」の開発を試みたものであり,その基本的な構築過程とサンプルデータによる推論結果の検証および実用性の向上について報告するものである。
