The governing equation of distortional behavior of a curved beam with thin-walled closed section is herein derived assuming the strain field based on the modification of the conventional beam theory. This equation is used to analyze additional stresses due to distortion of PC curved box girders. It is shown that the radius of curveture, the shape of cross-section and loading conditions affect the additional axial stress of the girders.
