There are lot's of seashore embankment in Japan. But recently, number of related reports of embankment destruction is increasing. Accordingly, the authors investigated the actual conditions of seashore embankment destruction in Yamaguchi district. And we found an embankment destruction at AJISU. With in the limits of this investigation, it became clear that suction phenomenon nas the direct cause of embankment destruction at AJISU.
