The most important characteristic of heavy oil burners is the atomization of heavy oil. The measuring method on diameter of atomized heavy oil particles from burners is not yet accomplished sufficiently. The author's research about the measuring method on diameter of atomized heavy oil particles from burners is described in this paper. It is most important that the combination of MgO and glass is used in this method.
