本稿では平成19年度より開発を開始した留学生向け初級日本語e-learning教材（①渡日前学習用教材、および②渡日後の初級前半の日本語コース用教材）について、開発の背景、教材の内容、同教材を用いた授業の実施報告、コース修了後に実施したアンケート調査の結果、および今後の課題について述べる。
