In this paper, the relation between automobile industrial agglomeration and the regional economy is examined. For the purpose, twenty-five cities and towns are extracted where the main factories of automobile maker and their parts supplier are operating and the amount of auto products shipment is the biggest in an industrial district. The level of Minryoku (people's economic and cultural strength), amount of manufacturing shipment per head, growth rate of population, amount of lacal taxes payment per head of each cities and towns are compared to those of surround. The correlations between auto industry and regional economy from 1990 to 2002 are inspected statistically.
