Landscape valuation of coastal zone in Hakata bay

The special amenity of the coastal zones in Fukuoka urban area was studied, based on the results of the survey conducted by us in 1991 for about one thousand households. Using Hayashi's method of multivariable statistical analysis, the relationship between the favorable impression and the landscape valuation was clarified. Namely, the pattern of attractive image of coastal zones were extracted by the Hayashi's method III, and the evaluation about the coastal development was analized.
