山口大学では、平成20年度から共通教育に新科目「情報セキュリティ・モラル」を新入生全員対象に必須科目として導入した。本研究は、当該科目の全ての授業が終了した時点で実施した授業評価アンケートを通して、学生が受講した新科目の内容やレベル、使用した教材、指導方法等に対してどのように考え、どんな点が課題と感じたのかについて分析を行ったものである。分析結果からはアンケート実施前からある程度予想された結果とともに、情報モラル教育に対する学生の興味・関心の低さなどの意外な結果も明らかになった。また、本稿では、授業を担当した教員にも意見を聞き、教育内容や教えるべきレベル、必要と感じた教材などについて様々な意見交換を実施した。その結果、教育内容の難易度が高く、改善の必要性が明らかになった。
