        An exact solution of a nonlinear equation which governs the internal solitary vortex pair is derived. The solution seems to reveal the flow pattern of the internal solitary bulge. The Prandtl-Batchelor theorem is generalized for a turbulent stratified fluid flow. The theorem is compared with field data of aircraft-trailing vorticies in stratified fluids.
