In the first report the writers studied about the plastic deformations of steel beams, viz cantilever, simple and fixed beams, when the concentrated impulse acted on the tip or the middle points, and showed the calculated values according to our proposed theoretical formulas were quite in good agreement with the experimental results. So we extended the above method to the case when the impulse acted on the arbitrary points of beams and confirmed the possibility of applying this method in such cases. More details are described in this paper.
