The theoretical research on flow resistance law considering flow characteristics in vicinity of wall roughness is seldom found, though its practical application have been rather extensively studied. Resistance law of open-channel flow with large relative roughness has come to occupy an important position in various aspects of rever engineering. This paper presents a method of representation of resistance law introducing a new kinematic viscousity defined by turbulent characteristics in the neighborhood of wall roughness.
