We sought to investigate the effect of low frequency hand-arm vibration, from using a vibrating dumbbell, on blood flow in ventral and dorsal skin of the up- per extremity. After 5-min baseline measurements of blood flow (BF), the subjects gripped the handle of a dumbbell vertically for two exposure period (without and with isometric handgrip condition for 5 min and 3 min, respectively) separated by a 5-min rest-period. This was followed by a 15-min recovery period. During both ex- posure periods, subjects were exposed to three randomized experimental conditions:i) vibration exposure at 15 Hz
