A Case with Acute Abdmen Due to Hernia Through the Foramen Morgagni

A case of 70 year-old woman with acute abdinen due to hernia through the foramen Morgagni, was reported. On admission, her chest X-ray film showed abnormal shadow on the right lower lung field. It was showed that abnormal shadow was colon structure by gastro-intestinal examination. She had been operated of uterine cervical cancer, 5 years previously. The muscle weakness due to aging or operation is pointed out as a kind of causes of hernia through the foramen Morgagni. It is necessary to define that the abnormal shadow on the chest X-ray film is pulmonary changes or the others. And, the importance of the mass survey of the lung is stressed in the discovery of this distance.
