Descriptions
The Pancreozymin-Secretin test (P-S test) and the Caerulein-Secretin test (C-S test) would make the burden too heavy for the examiners and the patients, which have demanded simple method for the pancreatic function test. Author employed PFD test for the pancreatic function test. There was insignificant correlation between the levels of each factor of the C-S test and the PFD test. The PFD level of the cases with the two or three low factors in the C-S test was significantly low in comparison with the PFD level of normal subjects. The PFD test was absolutely useful as a exocrine pancreatic function test in case of the marked pancreatic dysfunction and of the impracticable C-S test. The C-S test was a more useful method than the ERP as a pancreatic function test.
