Five patients, 4 with congenital arteriovenous fistulas and 1 a traumatic fistula, were seen and treated surgically at the Yamaguchi University Medical School Hospital. One of the 4 patients with congenital arteriovenous fistulas had Klippel-Trenaunary Syndrome without syndorome of the fistula. The other patients had diffuse congential arteriovenous fidtulas and were treated by subtotal ligation and excision and stripping of the great saphenous veines with good results in 2.
